QuiqTickets ("the Service") is operated by Kivein Ltd ("Kivein", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with its place of business at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. QuiqTickets is a product of the QuiqTap family by Kivein. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
The Service allows event organisers ("Organisers") and their authorised committee members ("Issuers") to create digital event tickets with QR codes, deliver them to ticket holders, and validate them at entry. Kivein provides the software platform only.
Each ticket contains a unique code and is valid for one admission only. A ticket that has been scanned and checked in is marked as used and will not admit again. Organisers are responsible for door decisions, including disputes about used, lost or duplicated tickets.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim for reliable operation, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free or available at any particular time, including during an event. Organisers should keep an independent record of tickets issued (visible in their dashboard) as a fallback.
The Service links to or relies on third party services, including WhatsApp (for ticket sharing), email delivery, and QR code image generation. These services are outside our control and are subject to their own terms. Kivein is not responsible for their availability or performance.
Organisers agree to indemnify Kivein Ltd against any claims, losses or costs arising from their events, their use of the Service, or their breach of these Terms, including claims brought by ticket holders.
We may suspend or withdraw access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, including where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where required for maintenance or security.
The Service, including its software, design, the QuiqTickets name and logo, is the property of Kivein Ltd. Organisers retain ownership of their own logos, banners and sponsor artwork and grant Kivein a licence to display them on tickets and related pages solely to provide the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

This policy explains how personal data is handled when QuiqTickets, operated by Kivein Ltd ("Kivein"), is used. We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For ticket holder data (names, phone numbers and email addresses entered when tickets are issued), the event Organiser is the data controller, as they decide whose data is entered and why. Kivein acts as the platform provider processing that data on the Organiser's behalf to deliver the Service.
Ticket holder data is not used for marketing by Kivein and is not sold to anyone.
Processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (running the ticketing service the Organiser has requested and preventing ticket fraud) and, where applicable, the performance of a contract with the Organiser.
Ticket data is retained for the duration of the event cycle and for a reasonable period afterwards for record keeping, after which it may be deleted by the Organiser or removed by Kivein. Organisers may request deletion of their event data at any time.
Ticket codes are randomly generated and unguessable. Access to issuing and scanning features requires an authorised login. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect data, although no internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Under UK GDPR, individuals have rights including access to their data, correction, erasure, restriction, and objection to processing. Ticket holders should contact the event Organiser in the first instance, as the controller of their data. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
This site stores a small flag in your browser's local storage to remember that you have accepted the Terms and Privacy Policy on this device. Logging in to issue or scan tickets uses standard WordPress authentication cookies, which are strictly necessary for the Service to function.
The issuing and scanning features are intended for use by adults acting for an event organiser. Ticket holder details for under 18s should only be entered by, or with the consent of, a parent or guardian.
